Hello McKinney Creative Community!  Let's gather and share what is new and good!

All creative souls living in McKinney, Texas and surrounding areas are invited to connect with other creative folks through our potluck gatherings. Whether you are an artist, writer, musician, dancer, actor, sculptor, potter, jewelry maker, fiber artist, photographer, chef or you just want to share your creative juices, you are welcome!  Bring a dish or drink to share!

This month we will have Todd Payne with Lazy Dog Typewriters! Todd will present an "Introduction to Vintage Typewriters: Machines of Mechanical Grace" and discuss how they can help you be more creative!

We seek out and acquire wonderful typewriters of all sorts – from the early 1920’s to “modern” electrics from the 1970’s, but specialize in that sweet spot of mid century modern machines. We carefully clean, inspect and adjust every machine so that it is fully operational and equipped with a brand new ribbon. Our vintage but fully serviced machines are ready to ready to write. Lazy Dog Typewriters help people disconnect from the distractions of the modern world where digital devices, ever present spell check, and distractions actually serve to sap energy from the writer rather than empower him or her.
