About The Event
Hello McKinney Creative Community! Let's gather and share what is new and good!
All creative souls living in McKinney, Texas and surrounding areas are invited to connect with other creative folks through our potluck gatherings. Whether you are an artist, writer, musician, dancer, actor, sculptor, potter, jewelry maker, fiber artist, photographer, chef or you just want to share your creative juices, you are welcome! This is a potluck event so bring a dish or drink to share!
This month we welcome Ari Gray! Ari is a board-certified Hypnotherapist with specialty certifications in past life regression, hypnosis for childbirth, and self-hypnosis. She's also a Certified Crystal Healing Practitioner, Crystal Reiki Master, Certified Meditation Teacher, ordained Interfaith Minister and Shamanic Practitioner. She even created her own Feng Shui method.
While that may sound like a lot of "certifieds", it simply speaks to Ari's unending quest for knowledge and for ways to improve her life and the lives of others. With a strong gift for storytelling and teaching, she uses her vast experience in all these fields to create programs where she can teach these same methods or tools to others to empower them to live the life they've dreamed of.
Ari's passion and goal has always been to help clients connect to their own internal power and abilities and to learn how to use that power in a holistic way to bring a better sense of peace and balance to their lives. Opening a studio and building a community for like-minded people was always her dream, and in 2022, that dream materialized with the opening of Sol & Luna Wellness Studio here in McKinney.
Ari will be speaking on the topic "From Shamanic Drumming to Shimmy Lab: The Road to Wellness in Modern Times"
In talking with people “post Covid”, one of the things I’ve heard over and over again is how many of them had some type of major shift or awakening in their realization of what was really important in their lives. From spending more time with their family to taking better care of their own mental and physical health, the roughly two years of isolation and scarcity seems to have brought about some amazing changes for the better.
Coinciding with this period we have seen huge strides in research in areas previously deemed metaphysical, new age, or my favorite, “woo woo”. Science has proven that the heart has its own brain cells and energy field and is very possibly the organ “in charge” when it comes to the human body. Advances in quantum physics has also helped the fields of crystals, sacred geometry, energy healing and the altered state of consciousness domains such as meditation, hypnosis and journeying become more mainstream and acceptable.
This is all amazingly good news for people wanting to find alternative means of healing themselves (mentally and physically) and maintaining health and achieving happiness, possibly for the first time, as they age.
