Hello McKinney Creative Community!  Let's gather and share what is new and good!

All creative souls living in McKinney, Texas and surrounding areas are invited to connect with other creative folks through our potluck gatherings. Whether you are an artist, writer, musician, dancer, actor, sculptor, potter, jewelry maker, fiber artist, photographer, chef or you just want to share your creative juices, you are welcome!  This is a potluck event so bring a dish or drink to share!

Our guest speaker this month will be Russ Johnson! Do you want to learn how AI can help you create amazing art and grow your business? Join this session with tech mentor Russell Johnson to find out what AI is, how it works, and what tools you can use to make your own AI-generated content. You will also learn about the legal and ethical issues of using AI and get some tips on how to experiment with it.

Bio:

Russell is an editor, XR professional, and author of the deepfake detective noir “Mash-Up." He loves studying all the new creator technologies available in the world of digital media, from AR to VR to Al and whatever comes next. He’s learned over the years that one of the best ways to master a new technology or technique is to teach it, so he enjoys speaking at conferences and putting himself in creative conversations where he can share his knowledge and see what he gets back in return. He is also available to coach businesses and solopreneurs on the best ways to incorporate emerging tech into their work.
